Reality is great, but I like giving it a little tweak -- improvising with color, streamlining shapes, weaving playful patterns. Unfolding with a life of its own, each painting is a journey and a joy!

Bay Area painter Nancy Roberts is a working artist, art instructor and licensed architect.
